Welcome to Finding a Relational Home in Integrative Psychotherapy — official podcast of the Institute of Relational Integrative Psychotherapy of Serbia (IRIPS).

With great pleasure, we present Finding a Relational Home in Integrative Psychotherapy, the official podcast of the Institute for Relational Integrative Psychotherapy of Serbia IRIPS.

This podcast was created from a deep wish to make our lecturers and supervisors in integrative psychotherapy visible and to give them a voice not only through their professional roles, but also through their personal stories, developmental paths, and the ways in which they discovered and found their own relational home within this approach.

Each episode leads listeners into a warm and thoughtful conversation with experienced psychotherapists from different parts of the world who work within relationally oriented, developmentally grounded integrative psychotherapy. Through these dialogues, we explore how theory, relationship, and personal experience meet in the process of healing.

The podcast is hosted by Marija Zivkovic, psychologist and psychotherapist, and created by Darja Pacesvski and Bogdan Markovic, experienced psychotherapists and founders and directors of the Institute for Relational Integrative Psychotherapy of Serbia.

Our first special guest, Dr Richard Erskine

We are deeply honored that the guest of our first episode is Dr Richard Erskine, founder of relationally oriented, developmentally grounded integrative psychotherapy, clinical psychologist, and psychotherapist with more than fifty years of experience in therapeutic work with clients, as well as in teaching and supervising other psychotherapists.

In this episode, Dr Erskine speaks about the development of relationally oriented, developmentally grounded integrative psychotherapy, the essential importance of the therapeutic relationship in healing, and what it means both personally and professionally to find a relational home. The dialogue goes beyond theory and reveals the human aspects of therapy dilemmas, discoveries, and moments of encounter that shape a lifetime in psychotherapy.

This is not a formal interview, but an authentic meeting and relational dialogue in the spirit of integrative psychotherapy itself.

We warmly invite you to listen to the first episode with Dr Richard Erskine and join us in exploring how a relational home is found, created, and lived in psychotherapy and beyond.
